Again I skipped a few days... I've been pretty busy, home late, and since yesterday night I'm down with a splitting headache, hence the late update. Let's do one for three days, then.
1. Interesting conversations
We went to the ICC in The Hague yesterday for our master programme, and I ended up in a group with five international students on the way back, which provided for some very interesting conversations about all kinds of topics! (Unfortunately, we ended up in a part of the train where we had to be quiet, so we couldn't really talk anymore then; but still.)
2. The Sound of Music
I saw it with my friend on Thursday evening and it was amazing, I loved it so much! I love the original movie, but it was so cool to see some performers I've known from other Dutch musical productions (or from TV) doing it. Their voices were incredible and they were all just so very good. I had a great night.
3. Leiden
Yesterday I spent most of my day in the city of Leiden, visiting one of my friends who studies there and has been living there for 2,5 years, but I had never gone over to see her room before (I always saw her on weekends and vacations, when she stays with her parents, and it's a pretty far trip to Leiden). We had a nice day, though. Leiden is a beautiful city, her room is very nice, and we had a lot of fun singing along to horribly bad guilty pleasure songs in the car on our way home, haha!
