Crickets chirping

Um... yeah. *shuffles feet, stares at ground* Um... hi?
*silence*
Anyone still there?
*crickets chirping*
Not sure how many people were reading this, anyway... but to those who were/are: I'm very sorry for the long wait. I don't really have a good excuse, either - sure, I've been very busy for the last week or so, and I've had a busy period around my exam week, too... but it's been ages since I updated this. I guess I just didn't really have a lot to say.

Anyways, I decided to update this blog again, so here I am.

Movie
We spent all of last weekend filming (remember that short movie I'm making with a bunch of friends?) and it was horrible, awesome, tiring, happy, painful, amazing and heaps of fun all at once.
We started shooting around 5.30 AM on both Saturday and Sunday; the first day we were done around 11 AM, only to find out that afternoon that the material we shot wasn't good enough for the movie, and so we started all over again on Sunday. Filming from 5.30 until noon. Then I went home, ate something, broke the record of 'writing a discussion section for your thesis in as little time as possible' (about an hour), took a two-hour nap, and raced back to the dunes to spend the next hours, from 4 to 9 PM, filming again.
It's just an awesome feeling to be doing this thing, especially with the group we're doing it with - we're having so much fun together and I love it. It's going to be great.

Uni
I passed my first exam with an 8 (out of 10), so I am very happy about that. Yesterday I found out I most likely passed my second (it's not quite official yet, but I'm 99.9% sure I made it). I had an 8.4 that counts for 30% of my final grade and for my exam I had a 4.35 out of 10 that counts for 70%; so those two combined just make for a 5.5, which is exactly enough to have passed the course! Phew. You have no idea how happy I am about that (though I don't really dare to be until it is made official). Countdown has started - all I still have to pass now is my Philosophy course and my thesis, and then I have my bachelor diploma in Psychology!

Writing
I'm currently still dragging forth Here we stand and Everything - because I know people are reading those fanfics and I hate leaving stories without finishing them. Honestly, however, my inspiration for those is far gone.
Instead, I've been working on a couple of short stories, as well as my original story - it's coming along quite well and I expect it to be finished by summer (don't hold me to it, though).
Also, I've been working on two new fanfics. Once I finish the ones I'm currently posting, I'm going to change my strategy. Right now I am writing two fanfics, to be posted after both Here we stand and Everything are finished; and I am going to finish them completely before I start posting them. Yes, you heard that right. The thing I could never do before, I am going to attempt doing again. No idea if it'll work, but I'm going to try.
So far, they're both about 6 chapters long and I haven't lost inspiration yet. One of them is a Wicked fanfic, Fiyeraba (obviously) and Shiz-era, called Dances with princes; the other is a Frozen fanfiction called Frozen love, the pairings of which will be Kristanna and... Helsa. Yes, Hans/Elsa. Don't kill me. It's just that every time I watch Frozen I feel like they have this sort of connection - they're both pretending, you know, conceal, don't feel, even though she's pretending to not have powers and he's pretending not to... well, be a jerk... but still. I just get this vibe from them and I think - I hope - I can make it work in a fanfic. Only time will tell.

Everything
Referring to the fanfiction now, not to literally 'everything', because I completely forgot to post the pictures of Elphaba's wedding dress in Chapter 17.

Now, since this is Elphaba we're talking about, I'm imagining the bottom of the skirt to not be see-through - just imagine it to look like the rest of the dress does :). I saw this dress and I just really liked it.

Until we meet again, my pretties! *witch cackle*
